📍 Two Control Modes: What's the Difference?

  • IR (Infrared) Mode: Requires line-of-sight; slower response
  • Bluetooth Mode: No need to point at the box; faster and more stable

How to tell which mode you're using?

  • 🔴 Red light → IR mode is active
  • 🔵 Blue light → Bluetooth mode is active

🔧 How to Switch to Bluetooth Mode (Recommended)

  1. Long press OK + Menu (≡) for 5–10 seconds to reset previous pairings
  2. On your UBOX 12, go to Settings → Bluetooth
  3. Clear any existing paired devices
  4. Click on "Search for Bluetooth devices"
  5. Select your remote (usually named UB-RC or Bluetooth Remote)
  6. Tap "Pair"
